Do You Donate Blood?

Today the PA blood bank visited my work for blood donations from our employees. This was my second time doing it although I don't enjoy it.

I do not, the feeling of the needle going in my arm sends waves of nasuea. Everytime I'm border line tossing my lunch

Apparently one pint, which is how much they draw at a time, can save up to 4 lives.

I do every two months unless I've got a cold and can't donate. Been doing it since '95. It makes me feel good doing something for the community so why not.

Yeah, you never know when you might need blood, thats why I started. Other people do it for you.

I would but I can't and they wouldn't take my blood with what I've got anyway. Fortunately I'm B+ which is the most common blood type.

The blood bank guy told me that 67% of Americans are capable of giving blood, but only 7% donate.
