Do you avoid dating girls with kids?

I am 27 and the area I live in is FULL of 18 and up girls that think its fun to have kids without being in wed lock or with a reliable father.

I have always dated girls that were independent, so they never latched onto me like MOST girls do. I kinda felt like I was never number 1 in their lives. Sure, it shows character in them, but fuck that, I want to be a priority too!

And women with kids cant do that. So to me that makes them just...no, no..

I used to think that way too, I'm 33 now and my girl has a 7 yo, he is a cool kid and more importantly she is the best damn girl I've ever met. Before I think I was just too much in to my own thing and like you say, didn't feel like dealing with it. But it's not a bad thing especially when the kid is a little older.

btw, from experience any girl under 25 is just a waste of time..unless it's just for a short time and for a little fun

I do remember reading somewhere on this forum about "what do you like in a girl" and one of the qualities someone listed was "if she has kids, as long as they arent younger than 4"..

exactly, 5 or older they can actually be fun, not so dependant. so you can easily get a baby sitter and still have a kick ass time on the town etc.....

but yea before I met her I steered clear of girls with kids.

dude over 25, girl over 25, kid over 5....it's not so bad

haha, making fun of people from south dakota is NOWHERE near as making fun of people from iowa. they are so proud of their state, and about half the people i went to school with were, football season was lovely this last year!

yeah we are few and far between, i wish i would known there was someone my age in the area, woulda rolled up to sioux falls sometime and cruised, i've always noticed there are a lot of nice cars up there. last year i was supposed to go to "canton cruise nights" i believe it was? i heard thats a big deal ever been there

never made it up to that one yet. but it is one of the better car shows in the area. we also have hot summer nights in july i think. it is pretty much all corvettes. they fill the entire downtown area. there are hundreds of vettes, its a good time but its been getting so many people the last couple of years you can hardly walk down there.
