Do Guns Kill?

Yeah stupid title but got attention. Was just watching CNN and a comment was said I thought was a joke. A Glock 19 is considered an assault rifle. Semi auto guns kill more people than say a gun with 100 rounds. I thought a bullet is a bullet and can kill a person. So what is the difference of a person with a revolver or shot gun? Still possible to kill 6 people. Shit kill 6 people and still have time to reload before the cops show up. Big debate what are others opinion?

To answer the title - yes, so can spoons kill too when used by a person. Left alone and amazingly they do nothing.

The "with great power comes great responsibility" comes to mind.


To the gun grabbers it's a senseless argument. Cars, electricity, medical malpractice kill more ppl on any giving scale yet you don't see anyone trying to ban them.

I am pro-police, but they are more or less a reactionary force by design. I take no pleasure in pointing a firearm downwind at another living being, but my family's and my safe-being are paramount, and it only takes a fraction of a second for harm to come. Many times, police come in minutes to draw chalk-lines, I wont let my family members be the ones who the chalk is tracing.

you do realize it's dangerous to arm a wife or girlfriend right? Makes the arguments a little trickier.

I find the whole "assault weapons" argument to be pretty stupid...

A.) These so called assault weapons are not actually an assault weapon by definition. They are labeled as one by liberal nut jobs who dont know what it is...sorry, I was a little blunt there but its true.
B.) A shotgun would do more damage than an AR15 or an AK47 "assuming they are semi auto" any day of the week.

Could you imagine some wacko with a semi auto shotgun with some nasty defense rounds in it...? Would be a really really really bad outcome compared to what has been happening. Not downplaying the shootings and murders that have occurred, but I would be glad they didnt have a shotgun of some sort...
