Did Natalie run her mouth off again recently? Not that she ever shuts up, but I must have missed it. I kinda feel sorry for the other two, because I don't really think they like the position she puts them in.

I always liked their version of "Landslide", but it was Stevie Nicks' song. Other than that, they never appealed to me very much.

Now having said all that I'll get back to Natalie. She is a pompous bitch claiming to be a champion of the 1st Amendment. What "tons o' fun" doesn't get is that yes, you are given the opportunity to speak your mind in this country, but you are NOT guaranteed that speaking your mind will be to your benefit. At one time the Dixie Chicks were the hot ticket in Country music, but soon after she started playing the political agenda, their popularity fell off quickly. When you take an anti-military stance to the troops that are the protectors of your right to free speech it makes you one of the most vile creatures on the planet....a hypocrite. Take your medicine, Natalie.

I wonder how outspoken she was when she was servicing the record company exec to get a contract? In all fairness, she does have a good voice, but I think her mouth is best put to use in other ways.

Unfortunately, Hurricane Earl revived interest in their song "Goodbye Earl", so I ended up having to look at that damn Natalie again. I like the other two (except for the fact they either support the bitch or are too damn scared of her to do anything about it), but the sawed-off Natalie has ZERO appeal to me. End result remains as it was before; screw the Dixie Chicks.
