Divorce Sucks.

So, I used to have a 99 TA that was really nothing special when compared to other cars I read about on this board. When bought, it was just a regular TA, bone stock. I took that car and did most of the bolt on's and other mods recommended on this board to include many suspension and appearence mods to make it my own. Now I have lost the TA to my bitch X in our divorce and everytime I see it all dirty and beat up it really pisses me off. I used to enjoy coming in here and reading the threads but now since its gone all I check out is the AAG section. I need something to fill the void, I loved driving that car. Now I'm stuck driving a Taurus cus she took me to the cleaners and trashed my credit. Anyone else been through this? I keep telling myself that divorce is expensive cus its worth it, lol. It would be if I still had my TA.

Sorry to hear about it. Look forward to the future though and I am sure you may be able get another one some day. I hope things start looking better for you. I know what you mean with all of this.

Ouch! Its not as much of a sob story as it sounded, I just hate seeing other f-bodies driving around and the fact that she trashed mine. I put a lot of work in on that car. And the thought of some other dude driving it and beating on it, its just not right.

I wouldn't say don't marry, but def don't marry when your young. Get out and see some things, live, take home strange when you can cus after your married you can't. Well you can then you end up in the same boat I'm in, lol.

DO NOT GET MARRIED!!!! OR IF YOU DO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PRE-NUP.
Protect your best interests. Divorce and custody laws today do not benefit men at all.

Only get serious with a woman who is career oriented. never date a woman who is unemployed.

Once men figure in general figure out that P_ssy is a liability instead of a reward you will better equipped to fight the battle and be successful.

Don't marry until you are absolutely sure that you have the right one picked out! And then be extra cautious.

I swore to myself when I did the headers and susp. on the first one that I wouldn't spend more time under a f-body again. Maybe I'll just pay someone to do it this time, lol. Or buy a Vette, lol.

+1 for the Vette or maybe find a clean F-bod with the mods already done! I found a nice 04 Cobra with all the wrenches turned for me and I didn't even have to pay blue book for it. Nevermind the 12k in extra mods the dude did to it before! You can find all kinds of nice things these days.

you could always steal it, and take off all your mods, and put em on your new car.....

Curious as why she got the car in the divorce anyways.... Surely you could have bargained something to keep it.
