so what is the deal with the little green box below everyone's avatar that when you put your mouse over it it says "NE98LS1 is a on distinguished road" (or the name of whoever's you happen to be looking at?

that goes with your little justice scales. if people don't like you-they can warn you etc and that green card turns to yellow, than red. they're called reputation points.

I think it's sort of like a reputation rating. If you click on the scales icon at the bottom next to the "report a bad post icon" you can comment on a persons post and add to, or detract from their reputation.

The "on a distinguished road"

people are ones that have had only positive comments or have had zero comments and are on the road by default.

Negative comments changes it to "an unknown quantity at this point".

As for the Green Square. . .? Guess there are other colors, such as yellow and red. Since everybody I have seen is green, I guess no one really uses this option that often. If they did, I would expect to see BillyT and Downunder Red by now . . especially the way they fire back and forth at each other. . .J/K!

it is for Rep, and if activated, you can either give positive or negative rep to other's.

I think it's kind of bullshit though. People in the politics section give other people bad rep if they don't agree with them. I'm not talking bashing each other posts. I'm talking just posts where people express their opinion. I've gotten a couple "bad marks" that way and i'm sure i'm not the only one. Some people on there are going to give people a bad reputation and that kind of hurts them on the rest of the site.
