i bought my gf this:
its by skeletal metal, its surgical bars turned jewlery.. (gf has two bars in her lower leg, so it works)
she gave me some cash to go towards this
we spend the last few days at
-the chicago auto show (black tie event, closed to public)
-international motorcycle show
-dinner at sweet baby rays
-dinner at coopershawk winery
-gun show, place that I picked up the sr40
tonight, we relax and work out.

pretty much forgot today was v-day but the lady and I dont really celebrate this one anyway. Woke up did some work on the ta while she was at work was finishing up when she got home so she helped me finish up. Went got the ta inspected and now she has left for school. If it counts for anything we went bowling with some friends last night

I took the kids up and let them pick out flowers, chocolates, and a card. The fact I'm sicker than shit should get me some bonus points for doing all that.
Her b-day is coming up ina weekish so v-day is usually just cards/flowers type thing. Not sure what to get her for her b-day. That'll be a shooting from the hip gift most likely.
