Not with Stafford at the helm! Never liked the kid, even when I lived up in Athens.

Yea, they will one a game. It will be the game they NEEDED to lose so they could have 1st round pick. But they will win that one, because they suck at everything, and that includes winning when your supposed to lose.

Haven't watched a whole Lions game since Wayne Fontes and Barry. The whole program needs to reset. The have been the worst team in NFL history for well over a decade now, I was cheering when they finally proved it.

I did take part in of the last "Fire Millen" chants though. It was at a Tiger game...

they'll win a few i think. They have a good shot against the Redskins this week after they barely escaped St. Louis. They play the Rams in week 8 and that's a very winable game. Plus they play the Browns and Bengals. It's possible.

I appreciate the Lions because they make my Buffalo Bills look great in comparison

Has anyone else noticed that the Lions are on more highlight reels than anyone else?

That's because they're the ones giving up the big plays.

I agree that they could win any of these 4 games.

The whole organization is a joke, they easily could have drafted O-Line or D-Line with that #1 pick and then waited until this year to get a QB in the deepest draft at that position in a long time. Instead they take a guy who came out early to prevent getting washed out by REAL QB's.

They have Daunte Culpepper riding the pine while Stafford puts up the worst QB Rating in the league.

I don't even watch anymore, its a wast of my Sunday.

They've pretty much done that by firing Matt Millen. It was a sad day when they fired him for anyone else in the NFC North since everyone knew he was the problem.

Mark my words and you heard it here - the Lions will win this Sunday against the Redskins!

I'll give you that Millen was the start of it. But as said above they still make piss poor draft choices. They have had the talent, but not the organization to utilize it as a whole.

Not saying I do (b/c I am not), but it seems the fans have a better understanding of what to do with Lions than the people who are paid to do. (I do have to say, Lions fans have to be one of the greatest fans in all of pro sports, to stay by thats teams side for so long takes alot)

So much for Lions appreciation thread, lol. I do hope all of my hometown teams do well, so once they start to show signs of life, whatever that may be, faith will be restored!

Till then, I have my Wings. Always have the Pistons to fall back on too.

(Not to thread jack, but I am a rare breed of Tigers fan. I liked it better before the World Series run, I was going to games once a week, for cheap! I'm extremely happy w/thier performance, but I hate I can't make it to nearly as many games, only 6 this year.)

I'd say they'll win a few just because there's no way they can lose every game even if they tried something crazy would happen. I take them over the steelers when they play... just joking, but if that happens I'm done watching.

Orchestrated by Millen, right? (make piss poor draft choices)

Firing him was the best thing they've done - worst thing they did was hire him in the first place. (who knew?)

I love watching the game on nfl.com! Good thing they wasted all that money on a new stadium that they still can't sell out!
