A depressing night LS1.com
As I sit here and type this while drinking my beer, I am afraid to say that I put a excellent friend in the ground today No one here except myself knew him but while he didn't own a LS1 powered vehicle, he loved cars/toys and mainly GM vehicles. He had owned a LT1 Trans Am, V-6 Camaro RS and last but not least a 69 Camaro SS which was damn near a full out race car! He was an excellent father to his ill son and a great human being that the world needs more. I've been through alot of deaths but it never gets any easier. RIP Dale Creighton! His name deserves to be known far beyond this small town I live in

Man: The Mods you are fighting,
they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!
Me: That is why no one will remember your name!

There's nothing wrong with losing it and crying bro just let it out. If you bottle up the emotions they'll eat you from the inside out. When you're feeling down just go to his grave and BS with him it'll make you feel better. Sorry again about your friend.

I'm done for the night....normally I would say it was the booze but I'm sick of drinking tonight and its not doing anything productive (didn't think it would do anything productive, just felt like drinking) I can't count how many times I've sat at my brothers grave and talked....it helps for sure I can guarantee I'll be at his grave talking, funny how that works out (A grave is the only place you can talk to yourself without looking like your crazy or an idiot)

A pic to go with the name!
I said earlier that he had a 576 ci in the 69 Maro but he really had a 540 merlin motor! N/A it dynoed 698 rwhp and 6XX ft/lbs of torque. His best 1/4 that is recorded was with the 468 ci was 10.66 at 130 mph at damn near sea level.

The name is in North carolina also, And my condolences go out to your and his family, and son also. It wont never be easy to loose a friend like him, their is also nothing wrong with breaking down either it gets everything off your shoulders and relieves the tension to make everyday life easier then it was prior to that.

Pretty cool today, a ton of people (Around 75 or so) went in front of his exhaust shop and layed rubber. The road is literally solid rubber. S/C LT1's and LS1's and Big Blocks and such. I'm going to head out tomorrow and take pics of it to post. I haven't seen anything like it
