Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
even though its a fogger system... if the engine was sprayed alot, and miles it could be a tired engine.

That thing looks bone stock with the exception of the nitrous. The guy could have at least thrown on some bolt ons. (Or he could have modded it and sold the parts speratley for extra $$). Any idea how many miles?

Black- 2001 Firebird TransAm WS6
i paid a lot more than that for mine, but mine was essentially mint condition when i bought it. and it was only 6 years old at the time. id try to see how many miles are on it. KBB is always a good reference.

I agree with what your saying, but most of the ppl who buy LS1 cars already know the kind of value it has on the open market. Give you an example...
Lets say you find yourself a nice 2002 SS with 1000 miles on it. KBB claims the following: Poor-$11,815 Good-$12,740 Excellent-$13,290
You figure an 8 yr old car with 1000 miles on it will be in MINT condition so I would look at excellent.
Here is my question: Lets say you bought it for the 13.3k that the buyer wanted. Are you telling me that you couldnt turn around and possibly sell it for $20k? Hell you could probably find a dealer who will give you at least $16k for it.

I'm not sure if it's too much money or not since I didn't see where the seller stated the mileage in the ad. But I would stay away from it just because it has nitrous, just like ibanez said, the owner could have sprayed the shit out of the car and it could have worn the motor out quite a bit, especially if the car has relatively high miles. To be honest, I would personally never buy a used car that's been modded past the average bolt-on's, just to be on the safe side, but that's just me.

Liquid Red- 2008 Pontiac G8 GT
Hmmm, nitrous on an otherwise stock car. The previous owner was looking for an easy way to go fast without the price of doing it correctly. Move on to the next one. This car spells disaster.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
a close friend of mine bought a 2000 z28 a4 for $6600 with 100,000+ miles, 4 years ago, from a dealer.
camaro had:
QA1 shocks all around
small cam
full bolt ons
fogger kit (removed)
front sway bar removed
ls6 intake
stock 10bolt
his camaro runs strong, looks good, and no issues.. The car is great.
Just watch what you are buying and watch the prices.. Good deals are out there.
