    dead battery club

    check in here. my damn battery is dead on my z06. oh well, im not gonna worry about it for a few more weeks. the weather is supposed to be shitty the next few days in st louis. the blue bomber aka 93 buick century is my daily driver and still going strong

    thats how it went down last night. a friend with a c6 called me to bitch about his dead battery so i got to thinking i should try to start mine. i went to the garage and the damn thing was dead. its been about 3 weeks since i started it so i guess i was asking for it. i was laughing at him though because i told him his is gonna be harder to jump start with the battery under the hood with his car pulled straight into the garage and my battery being in the hatch.

    One of my favorite christmas presents I ever received was a battery jump box... saved my ass(and plenty of people in parkings lots around me too) tons of times... you can pick up a decent one for 50 bucks...

    My ACdelco batt has died on me about 4 or 5 times since ive had my car. Im pretty sure its the OEM that came with the car from the factory.

    A weak battery is not good for the alternator. I would have it load tested or just replace to be safe.
