dd suggestion

Ok after I get done with building my car I dont want to use it for a daily drive here is the list of what I was looking at buying which one?

cobalt
srt-4
mazda6
mazda3
neon(yuck!!)

That is the ones I am looking at any suggestion what to look for what not to look for in them I am leaning towards the srt-4 cause I found one with 40k on the clock for 11 grand 5 speed.

yea I drove a mazda6 several years ago a girl I know had one and I took it for a little trip up the road and back. Wasnt a bad car overall, its just I drove the srt-4 and it tickled my balls for a stock little car haha.

get something comfy for a DD. you don't need it to be fast. you need it to haul you and anyone you want to take with you and do so comfortably. I wish i had a larger DD. having 2 cars that are both stick shift 2+2's is fun but not very practical. I'd love to be able to run out and get like a Lincoln MKS ecoboost or something in that range. Cushy and stylish.

Yea I am not looking to turn it into something of that nature, not like I will be slapping a bigger turbo and a aftermarket waste gate and upping the boost on it, just going to be my quick little dd that gets good gas mileage but still has something to it.

chiller2484-where do you live at in NC I am from the hickory area, been gone for about 15 months so I am sure it has changed alot, and I will be all over north carolina the next 4 months going to conventions and yellow ribbons and shit for the military glad I get travel, room, food pay haha and they def give me alot of money for travel.

yea dont get me wrong if I could I would get a nice suv if I could afford it, but I am not gonna be haulin anybody around really and the srt-4 fits my needs as in trunk and 4 door, I can offically say I have never owned a four door car lol with a trunk I have been true to my blood I have owned a 97 firebird that was totaled by my little bro and was gonna be my dd, and I bout my 00 t/a when I went on leave from Iraq in July. And trust me a trans am and even down to a pento will def be more comfortable enough for me compared to what I have been in here lol.

Also have been thinking about one of the pontiac g5's or g6's, drove one when I was in florida on vacation it was my rental car back in 08 that little ecotech motor surprised me also!!

around here, ones with about 70k miles are goin for $9,000 or less, so keep ur heads up for those kinda good deals

Yea that is true but how the heck do I know if it was taken care of lol, I want a nice dd that will have under 100k and be within a 15k range that I wont have to worry about for like 3 or 4 years major technical difficultys that is.

LT1 > LS1- Yea they were decent I am going to go drop by that dealership to see if I can't catch me a test drive lol, They have two black ones one has like 80k that they was like 9 for and the other one is 40k that their wanting 11 for so we will see.
