I always thought he was really weird and looked like he hasnt aged in the last 20 yrs. just stayed well, old looking. But its just weird to me that he would die via suicide at 72.

I liked him in the Kung fu tv show he had. Good actor. It was weird for him to be in the Yellow Pages commercials. He seemed like a good man.

Met the dude in Louisiana back in the early eighties when they were filming one of the North and South sequels.
He was at the time a very odd guy and liked to drink Vodka in mass quantities.

Yup... I used to watch that all the time. To this day, one of my favorite movies is The Long Riders. David played a really good Cole Younger in my book! (but, I'm kind of an old west junkie)

I find it hard to believe that he would commit suicide. But, you just never know what is going on in someones head

Thai police told the BBC the 72-year-old was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and other body parts.

Another news article said the rope was around his genitals. I'm guessing erotic thai sex play gone bad. If so, he went the way I hope to go.
