depends on what you want man I will 90% of the time throw out the idea of dell or a toshiba if you are wanting just for Internet crap 700-900 will do you dandy and if you can future prof a little

We buy lots of laptops at work and our IT group usually buys the best deals at the time, but after talking to numerous people it seems the IBM think pad gets the nod as the favorite. I just got a new one with fingerprint security, hard drive airbag, etc.

1. Plug in external monitor and then use it.
2. Try to use it without visuals by doing keyboard commands.
3. Remove laptop harddrive and connect to desktop.
