Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Damn near shed a tear....
http://detroit.craigslist.org/car/450747876.html
I love the description...
This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is absolutely amazing. From the looks, to the power, sound, drive and ride, it is truly one of a kind and 1st class. This is a Factory 403 K code T/A with the #'s matching 403 that has been reworked to become a 468 screaming Pro Street. This has not been tracked, there is no roll cage, no interior modifications, not tubbed, it is a true modern day Pro Street with 4 seats, a fully reinforced Hurst frame and suspension, and enough power to spin in circles with no noise from the tires, plus it is street legal. Email me at allmarkets@gmail.com or Call me at 517-231-6080 if you are interested and have a nice trade, questions, cash, etc.
The paint and body are gorgeous as shown in the photos. No bondo, no orange peel or any signs or poor prep work, and the panels are laser straight. You can park between a Bentley and a Rolls Royce with this Trans Am, and all you will hear is WOW look at that Trans Am. I have owned a few NSX's, a 996 GT3 Porsche, XK Jag, AMG 430 Benz, numerous 60's muscle cars including Tri-Power GTO's and 440 Mopars, and the only car I have ever owned that was faster than this car up to 100MPH was a Ferrari F355 Challenge car that was not street legal. This is so fast it is unsettling, and I have never used the fully integrated Nitrous system, never, I have not even put a bottle in but it is the only thing missing.
There is less than 1000 miles on this complete Restoration. The paint is a top notch HUGE $$$$$ custom job and the racing stripes are painted starlight black, they are not decals. The patterns on the sides are metallic painted decals and they are perfect, but they could be removed just leaving the Painted Racing stripes if the new owner wanted that. The original 403 motor and driveline had a lot of cash invested to make it produce more power and stability than most people have ever seen in person on the street. The whole suspension (including rear air system) and frame were all Hurst modified to hold all the power. 20 inch deep dish Super Finish Boss wheels were added for better look and traction.
It was ordered from the factory with 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Tilt, Soft Ray on All windows. This was a Starlight Black on Black super clean Trans Am before it was transformed into the machine it is now. There have been countless hours and so many thousands spent on this Trans Am, and it all shows. I have PHS papers, the original MSRP, the owners manual, and many extras that go with this Trans Am. I have all the front farings and they are orange too, I just liked the look without the front plastic added. I have a free and clear title in my name. I drive this a few days a week, but I am moving out West so I need to sell it. If I could keep it I would. I told my wife I never wanted to sell this car, but that is life.
I will consider high dollar trades, or part trade part cash. NADA.com retail with the 403 is $34,750, and that would be for a mint stock #'s T/A which this is nicer than, but I am reasonable.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Pontiac made more 79 T/A's than any other year. Hell that year was the high water mark for Firebird's in general. I personally wouldn't have done this but then again it's not my car. $34K + doesn't sound too bad though.

You know, it wouldn't be too bad with the original hood, different wheels, and the gay robot F&F decals removed...

I think Mr. Luos almost shed a tear because the guy with the 79 TA stole all his ideas for his WS6!
