"Surviving the Cut" is the only show on Discovery (actually on TV at all) in the past few years that I enjoyed and watched religiously.

Most shows nowadays consist of just this reality bullshit in which the producers make up scenarios to add to normal/boring situations to make it more interesting.

I'll be punching bag but I liked the show. Hillstrands were alright but had their asshole moments!

But what did the Hillstrands exepect if they didnt fulfill their contract...? I don't see where Discovery is in the wrong.

Simple breach of contract, lawsuit follows, they quit show, friends boat(Northwestern) follows, end of story. Show struggles for next one or two seasons then the end!

good show....I've watched it since it first started. Hate to see it go but I understand why they're doing it. Discovery was trying to strong arm them into doing something they obviously didn't want to do.
