Actually, in NC, we have a 1/2 a space, so technically, we can get 9 characters on the liscence plates

Standard plates are 3 letters, 1 dash, 4 numbers, so you can have 8. You can actually put 16 of the following: periods, apostrophes, exclaimation point, colon, dash, or comma because they all only count as half a space

I used to have a Iroc-z years ago in highschool first plate was

BLNTED 1 - of course blunted one but that was long ago
Nasty Z - 2nd plate
PHAT ROC - funny as hell and was tight when the word phat was popular
SMKN ROC - just to fuck with cops... and because it was fast for what it was "smokin
rock"

I left the vanity plates for a while changed cars got a 95 Z28 then was tired of bitchy girls so came up with

ULDO4NW - "you'll do for now" girls hated it .. thought what an asshole haha but it was hilarious

Then I got my Sebring Silver 2002 SS and definitely wanted a plate that fit me and the car... I had to have something hot.. I had double 10 % mirror all the way around at first so I put

CANTCME - "can't see me" of course

Then I saw cya ofcr - so I went home and played around at the dmv site and came up with L8R OFCR .. that was taken so I got the drunk version

L8R OCFR - Later Occfier ...I checked next time my plates were up and whoever had
L8R OFCR had given it up and that is mine and has been now since 2002

Fits the car people love it .. cops hate it .. so That will remain on the car permanently haha
