Cruise time in Ky

Here we go guy's and Gals it's Somenites Cruise time. I'm all loaded up for the action this Sat. This is an awsome cruise event, no trophies just alot of realy nice cars. But after the show is when it get's good. The cops backoff and let everyone have a good time. Thats within reason. There are alot of great redlight to redlight action. great place for kills. For more info on the cruise visit Somernitescruise.com. last month we took the SS WHAT A BLAST!!! i got some good kills and no deaths. I'm taking my Malibu this time, MUSTANGS look out. I hope everyone gets a chance to attend some day. if you ever plan on going send me a pm and we will meet up and go Cobra killing. LOL

man i have been wanting to get up to Somerset and check that out. whats the turn out like and are there any drag strips close that everyone heads out too, or is it just street racing?

The average is about 1200 cars. And yes tere are two strips within 30 to 45 min away. Lake Cumberland dragway and london dragway. london is the better of the two in my opinion.

I want a old Malibu for drag. But please tell me theres a different grill or front fascia you can put on them because thats nasty looking lol

Honest Charlies in Chatanooga Tn. makes a monte carlo SS front end kit. But I like the oringinal front better. If you want a Monte buy a Monte.....

one thing to whatch out for when buying a Bu. the frame behind the rear tires are notorius for Rot... if the body is solid and you are going to back half the car don't worry about it all that will be removed during the back half process. and also the floor boards need to be checked for rust also.

Yea they only do this from April- Oct. Maybe you can catch one next year.
