Criesss
I just saw a nice ass "Bandit" T/A smoke it tires off from the lights... So sexy, I still want a 2nd gen so bad!!! But I don't feel it's sensible for me to drive a 30+ year old car everyday, unless you guys know where theres one with with a fresh rebuild or something for around $5,000... After seeing that I was so tempted to buy that one down the road, shit... I know I should do the sensible thing, and get one them Escalades financed. But all these 2nd gens are just sexy as hell.

In order to get something reliable in a 2nd gen, you'd need to get spend over $8,000 from what I seen... I don't have that kind of mind. I been looking at SUV's and wondering if I can even get that financed... I am more then likely going to have to pay cash, witch is find. I have $5,000 cash.

I know here in NJ, it is more expensive to finance/insure an SUV. Too many of them on the roads and getting into accidents.

Didn't you say the Escalade was $13,000 or something though? Which, last I checked, is more money than $8,000? Is there something here staring me straight in the face that I'm missing?
Yeah, but it's worth it, because it's nice to know you have the availability of four wheel drive & 16" ground clearance when taking little timmy to school or crossing the strip mall parking lot.

I would try to talk it down to 3k. I have always liked that aero package. No Grilles, block offs. I would like to have the TA anniversary edition. I think it came out in 84. Was white on top and black on the bottom.

I have been a fan of this color scheme as well. But, then again, I am a KR fan.

It's hard to finance a classic car... Easier to finance something newer. Also all the decent 2nd gens with rebuilt motors I seen go for $8,000-12,000 on ebay. If I get an SUV I would use it to go the "mountain" house... Witch as long as you have high ground clearance you can make it. But if the ground is wet, or snow. It's nice to have extra traction from 4wd/awd.

buy a geo, use the left over money to pave a road to your mountain abode.

What about these, almost collector status. BOOST, roomy, and has some decent ground clearance:

I have, I am just simply stating I saw a nice bandit Trans Am. I decided against one, because it would be iffy for a daily. Now, if I found one that had pretty much a new motor and trans, I probably would. Or at least rebuilt in the last couple of years. I am still looking into getting something financed and talking to my G/F stepdad.

If, and I say IF you buy an Escalade, BE CAREFUL with the 22s if you get those. Those tires are MAD $$$$.
