Crest White Strips

Has anyone here used these before? If so, what type and how much difference did it make / how long did it last?

The reviews on Amazon.com seem pretty good, I just want some more opinions before I decide whether to try them.

I tried them and quit using them after a week. They make your teeth sensitive as HELL!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't eat hot or cold foods for a whole week afterward. Everything had to be luke warm or my teeth were in searing pain. It's probably worth spending the money to go to a cosmetic dentist to have your teeth whitened. F*@k the whitestrips!!!!

tried em when the first came out . . . made my teeth sensitive like mustangeater said. i heard the new ones are better. but dentist made trays and teeth bleach from the dentist are the best. . . my gf did it and it was like 400 bucks to get your custom trays made and then like 20 bucks for 4-5 months worth of bleach

they are really messy, its hard to keep them in ur mouth for more then like...10 min but the longer u keep the strips in the better...

there are "trays" out by i think auqa fresh, id try the trays..they stay in place better the strips are gonna be all over the place. they do make a different IF u can keep the strips/trays in... try to keep them off ur gums too or they are gonna eat through them like acid.

Any crest brand will do imo.

Do the strips bleach dental work also...like bonding and whatnot?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I decided to pick some up when I went shopping tonight, it's only $30 or so, So I figured I'd see if they worked or not. I'll keep you updated if it helps or not.

No, the label says it only whitens natural teeth... not caps, crowns, veneers, fillings or dentures. So if they do work for me... I guess I'll have to go to the dentist, because I have some bonding on a tooth near the front.
