I find this utterly hilarious, since both of my plates have passed the MVA, even though "PSIENVY" on my GTP has a legitimate gear head meaning, everyone else see "PENIS ENVY" :rolleyes



I actually laughed out loud when I read this:

I saw a couple here a year or so ago that were funny. One was something like TIGRSUX (a reference to the Auburn Tiger football team), another was BEOTCH, or something similar. Friend of mine has some older tags on display in his house that are pretty crude, too

Back in the 80's, I tried to get LUVMY69 for my Chevelle. Flat out denied and was told it was too vulgar. I tried explaining that my car was a 69. Didn't matter. Then they handed me this huge book of plates already taken. I'm talking at least 4" thick. I ended up with CHEVLLE instead.

When I got my Camaro, I decided that I wanted another personalized plate. Only ever had two. I wanted HER LS1, but, it was taken. This time it was much easier to go through the already taken plates online. So, the only thing close was LS14HER. They again denied me for the same reason. Too vulgar. So, this time I wrote a letter to the DMV offical that denied me, explaining the actual meaning and reasoning behind my chosen plate. After a few weeks of review by the DMV, they changed their stand on it and eventually allowed it.

On this note, there is a Hummer around here that boasts '11 MPG' on his license plate... surprised that thing doesn't get keyed all the time...

A couple of years ago I seen on the news a lady wanted a custom plate that read ILVTOFU, she wanted it because she loved eat To Fu. But the BMV seen other meaning.
