Corvette Wipe-out

Recently I also saw a news story about a woman who died while showing off her Corvette to a potential buyer, I think.

Are Corvettes dangerous compared to similarly powerful sports cars? Or is this just another example of a few dumb or reckless people giving American sports cars a bad rep? Oh yeah, the two crashes on the news involve women drivers, so maybe that's the real problem

Or strength and reaction time needed to keep a car from totally losing control, to be serious.

How many people were in the car? 3 or 4? Last I checked a Corvette seats 2.

Second, the report says driver may have been drinking....and you question the car??

Good points, but people see that on the news and think "Corvette is dangerous." It even makes me wonder that. And there's the other story, in which alcohol was not mentioned as a factor.

If ya continue watching the news video, the guy says there were four people in the car, 2 men, 2 women. Wow, how the hell would thaat work?!?

Two small people in the hatch i guess?? I'm not small at 5'9" 193lbs but I folded my seat down and was laying in the hatch area last night.... pretty comfy for two actually.... though a vette hatch it is not... there's a LOT more room in a TA.

No... no nookie went down in the hatch of the hawk... just some chillin out with tunes.
