    Corvette Suspension

Need some help. Bought a totaled 2003 Z06 rolling chassis. This has the engine, trans, torque tube, 6 speed trans, and rear end. I am trying to set up how the upper control arms will be mounted to the frame. I am building a new frame so I can mount a Chevelle body on top of this set up. I am trying to see if anyone can help me with some info on how to posistion the upper control arms in relation to the lower arms. The lowers are mounted to the aluminum cradle for front and rear, but the uppers mounted to the Corvette frame that was bent and removed with the body. I also need to stretch the torque tube to fit the new application. Anyone have any ideas or have done this? If you have anything, please let me know. Looking for some help.

    Thanks, Jim.

Just weld some upper A Arm mounts, I always thought a vette was a space frame.

    Torque tube

I have removed the torque tube from the clutch and from the trans. I found that this is a sealed unit with a drive shaft in the center. I have spoken to a guy at a show that said the guys that mount older vets on custom frames often use the c5 set up. When they do this they need to shorten the torque tube to make it work. I am looking for info or some one who has info on this or a shop that can do this. Any info, please let me know. I will post when I find out more.
