Confession Time

Yesterday at the Military Appreciation Day car show....tons of modded Mustangs.....kids....blowers nitrous etc. One kid in particular kept coming over "talking shit" about he would waste me blah blah blah.....I told him to get his ass to the track and I'd try my best to keep up with him

.....going home guess who comes running up beside me....revving....gunning....On I10 West....got some open traffic in front and I laid into it....I mean I laid into it...he had a blower I knew from the car show and nitrous ( dont know if it was on or not)....from a 65mph punch up to 130mph (few seconds)....he just kept dropping back....at 130 I shut it off as I could see some cars coming up fast...he was a good 6-7 car lengths behind me..I did it...I raced on the street....I always say dont and I did it. But damn it felt good to shut his pimple faced Mustang driving ass up. He stayed back after that and that was the end of it.
I'm sorry and wont do it again.

I'm sorry and wont do it again.

I am trying my best not to ever street race again......but on the way home last week a srt-4 runs up on me and b4 I knew it was off to the races. last I looked I was going past 120mph and he was 2 cars back. when I shut it down I felt pretty stupid for doing it

sometimes ya jus gotta do what ya gotta do. you get the opening the road is clear and that pesky ass jus wont quit. so you waste him. good job

Way to go Sarge. Yeah, us old heads always say don't street race but we still do. It's just that we tend to size up the situation first I think and we usually don't go looking to egg on but we can get egged on in certain circumstances. We also know when to shut down lol.
To the young guns-don't take offense because we know that there are some of you that act older than you are (more mature) and you even wear your seat belts.

My rule of thumb, If they are not still with me after a 20 to 30MPH punch, time to shut it down and save the gas.......

I like to drive fast, and mess with people a little, but no at 130.

I'm trying to learn the self control myself now. Funny thing is I just did heads cam intake TB pully. The other night I was comming home from the city and some guy in a Maurader (Spelling ?) seemed as if he wanted to play. I just let him be. Sounded like exhaust and converter atleast. Got more mods but want to race less. But every now and the you just got to put some foot to ass !!!!
