I've read the story line, it looks like its not a remake entirely. It has a different plot/story and seems that they are trying to re-boot the story. At least they didn't cast Jason Statham or the Rock. They are not a bad actors, just that this required an actor having a certain look

That guy doesn't look like Conan.

I can only picture Conan as drawn by John Buscema. All the others don't seem "right"

Arnold was close but needed black hair.

Guy's bulked up a bit since Stargate Atlantis for the role. I'm unsure so far as well, but I'm sure I'll see it. I'm a lifelong fan of Conan, have every Conan book ever written on the shelves over there...

I agree with ibanez7. It is going to suck. Sorry but Conan needs to look like a body builder. Not busting on that dude but they should pick someone like Mariusz Pudzainowski.

No shit man. The Pudz would be much better suited though I feel his acting would be horrible. Thus he would follow in Arnolds foot steps perfectly.

exactly... Conan was a hit, because the character is larger then life, and Arnold was a very large man then.. The character needs to be a size that people are not used to seeing everyday..

hollywood is better off making conan a 3D animated flick

Jason Momoa is 6'4" but he isnt MASSIVE looking like Arnold was.

Conan ala Jersey Shore perhaps mixed with a little of Twilight and a hint of something else that I cant quite put my finger on. I GOT IT! The last part is Americas Next Top Model.

they have been trying to get another conan off the ground forever. originally this was supposed to be a 3rd movie with arnold as an older conan, which would have rocked, but then he got elected and that canked the movie. then warner brothers held it for seven years and did nothing, so the owners pulled the rights and sold it to the first fools who could get it out quick. I agree this guy does not look like he should be playing conan. Even the bad guys in the first conan were bigger than him!
