Uhhh..... AntiVirus Golden is spyware disguised as an anti-spyware program... it shows fake security alerts and all... are you getting lots of pop ups?

i hate antivirus programs. they fuck up your computer so bad, id rather take the risks. just be careful what u do online, delete your online cookies and offline temporary internet files, etc... shit like that.
i have yet to have an antivirus program that doesnt fuck up my computer and isnt annoying as shit!!!!

AVG Anti virus and AVG anti spyware. Both free, I've used them for 2+ years, no problems yet. And best of all they don't suck up resources like norton, symantec, and whatnot.

the only thing that pops up is the update box, and thats only if its set to automatic updates. You can turn that off and just update whenever if you want.

Not all viruses and the like advertise their presence. You can't ignore the very real danger and threat of malicious programs. Even with careful internet browsing, it's very easy to contract SOME sort of spyware, even a virus.
I concur with AVG. I, and all my friends, have used it for the past few years. Frequent updates, great configuration and rich features for a free product. I'd suggest giving it a shot.
