After seeing Jeff's thread on his trip to Arizona, I figured I'd throw up some pics from my trip out to CO this past December for some members to see that have never been to CO.

Had a good friend move there with his wife last September and being I had never been, I decided to use some miles with United and book a flight out to visit for a grand total of around $8

Overall, the trip was pretty amazing. Only was there from TR night through Tuesday afternoon, but seen plenty.

Started that Friday with taking a trip up to Rocky Mountain National Park. Stopped at a few breweries on the way home and headed to downtown Denver that night. Spent the day in Denver on Sunday at the Broncos/Bears game. That was a total blast!

The Monday before I left we went to the airport base and Garden of the Gods. Spectacular views everywhere.

They live about 45 min straight south of Denver in Castle Rock. Great location.

Anyway, on to the pics. These were all on the cell phone. Better ones to come later off the camera.

My Uncle has a cabin about a mile from the estes park brewery (that place sucks

). He lets me and the gf use it for some weekend getaways. Estes is a nice town, as is castle rock and the denver metro area as a whole. You should hit up Colorado during the summer; it's even more awesome. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

Trying to get out there in maybe August. My summer just filled up too quick too soon. Estes brewery was probably my least favorite

, but after walking around in shit cold weather all morning it wasn't too bad. We were both starving and thirsty at that point.

Great Divide was probably my favorite as far as actual beer taste selection goes.
