    Coldest Ever started your F-bod?

Mine just sat out all night in -26F with a windchill of -51F. Turned the key, no sound, nadda, tried again, same, oh shit, looked down headlights were turned off, battery can't be dead. Third try, turns over slow and idles rougher than hell but after she warmed up she purred like a kitten. Harder than hell to shift cold though. Had to wait 15 minutes before I could get it in reverse to back out, felt like pulling an oar through peanut butter. lol.

I started my S-10 one time with -40 and i'm sure it was colder than that with the wind. She cranked hard and slow and then popped right off, you're right about the shifting too, pull it down into gear and a few seconds later click it goes in.

Mine was like that in Minnesota after the Thanksgiving Day break. MAF kept trying to compensate for the colder air etc, and kept yoyo'ing high/low rpm til the auto choke found what it was looking for........lol.

Yeah, scared me too. LS1s don't like cold weather.

It was -13 degrees when I got up, so I waited 'till it WARMED up to -7 to start the car. It's idling right now. The service engine light is on....I hope that goes off once the car warms up....I'm thinking it's becuase the volt meter is REAL close to the red.

Was even colder this morning -34F actual with a windchill in the -60's. I couldn't believe it actually started up!! I could have cranked it over faster by hand, but it actually fired! My ses light came on also, but cold weather does wierd stuff to cars, my brothers car had to be jumped yesterday and his radio wouldn't work till the car warmed up. Go explain that one. Fucking Iowa's no smoking inside law sucks ass now to, had to go outside at 3am to light up. My face was burning from the air.

Once it gets in the single digits mine turns over really slow... I took it off the road for this winter, got caught in one bad storm last year and can't believe I made it home. My 93 z28 I had years ago had a block heater, don't think this one does.
