cold air?
i thought of something today.has anyone ever ran the air conditioning duct work to the motor? i know its not compressed but wouldnt the cold air help hp. i know it wont do anything in cool weather but would cold air going in the intake give more power in hot weather or would the drag on the motor cancel out any gains you make? now i now this would take some thought and engineering but what if?

Are you saying that someone should put a pipe... going from their A/C vents inside the car... around to the front... and into the intake?

Running the A/C puts more load on the motor... also... you better have a damn fast blowing and high flow A/C to make it work above... i dunno... 5 mph... remember why you need the big fan infront of the dyno?

no ac in the car. i have deleted mine. im asking about using the cold air that the ac would create instead of going in the car reroute it in the intake. the temp here last week was 100 degrees. if the air going in the motor was cold wouldnt it help? just a spontainious thought.

Get a midget and have him/her blow into your intake while drinking ice water....it will work better than A/C vent in your hose and midgets are cheap these days.

You would lose more from the a/c running than you would gain from the cold air...
You would get better results by running the coolant hoses from the throttle body to a reservoir filled with ice water, and circulate it to keep the TB cold

^ Lol...the leafblower mod made a 9hp gain on the dyno. It was on youtube. But its rediculous and unpractical.
