the climate
man iowa climate sux. one day its so humid with a temp of 85 but wit humidity its 120 and when u walk outside just takes the breath right out of u u cant even breath. then we switch straight to flooding which has been goin on a lot this year. they are predicting that the des moines river which goes into saylorville lake which is a reservoir for the river and theres a damn on the other side they are predicting it right now that it will be 36 foot above the normal by labor day. its 9 foot above right now. i hate this states weather. then when it comes winter time the storms just blast the hell out of us. i had a discussion on the train awhile back about the humidity here being worse than florida's. everyone said im full of shit yeah right. i would so much rather be in florida right now. ive talked to ppl since those posts from washington dc and cali and florida and texas all of which came to iowa and complained about our climate and the humidity bein worse than anywhere theyve been.guess i was right. well anyways sry to rant on wats ur guys states climate like? does it rapidly change all the time and never decently the same?

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
Pa has been shitty the past few weeks. Although we just got a break with some cooler temps and much needed rain. Right now though it's pretty warm and very humid instant coat of sweat when you walk outside...Supposed to be worse tomorrow.

The entire South has had that weather for years, we've gotten used to it. We don't say hot until it hits 90 here.

o i know but the humidity this year has been extremely bad. ppl from out of state came from the south, east, or west coast and all wanted to go back home to where they came from while our climate has been acting this way. i mean hell u walk outside whereever u are and u get blasted like stickin ur head in 1000 degrees and it takes the breath right out of u and u physically cant breath its that bad

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Tempe, AZ:
Temperature - Right now: 100*. High will be 106*
Humidity - 26%
Pressure - 29.78 in
Winds - WNW 11 mph
Visibility - 40 miles
I'm originally from Los Angeles but I've lived here in AZ for 4 years. I can take the heat way better than hot & muggy in the summer and then cold & frosty in the winter. Ex wife was from Ohio so I know about hot & muggy. I lived in Colorado for 3 years so I know about the snow. It's actually really nice here 8-9 months out of the year and the best thing: NO SNOW!
My motto: "I ain't gonna go if there is any snow!"

Try 95 degrees with 95% humidity, and having to be in full turnout gear fighting a structure fire.
Just got home from that. Hot as hell.

Yeah, because we've got it too. Add on fighting fire to that.

That's good. Just got back from another call, vehicle accident. That temperature, plus gear, plus asphalt, exhaust from trucks and ambulances...
Less than an hour apart, too. Maybe we can get some quiet.

BlackCherry- Bad Ass 67 Camaro / 2010
That is why Colorado RULES!!!!
We can get all kinds of temps, all year long. But we seldom ever get above 40% humidity.
It usually hovers around 10 or 15%.
This morning, it was 46 degrees at 4:45AM, and got to 90.
Even in the winter, the cold is not that bad, and the snow is always great!
Colorado - The best place to live!!!
