I head out to Ohio every now and then. I'll have to check this place out one of these days. Looks peaceful.

I've lived here in Ohio my whole life, not an hour away from here. I've visited this place twice now in the past four days.... It's been said to resemble the Pacific North West. ...these photos don't give perception as to how far down that water is... I'm guessing 70 feet?

What part of Ohio is that? What's the nearest large city? I'm in Cleveland, Columbus, Lancaster, and Akron from time to time; about every 3-4 months for a few days.

Clifton Gorge is maybe 10 minutes south of Springfield, south on 72, west on 343. take the "Narrows" trail - mike walk out, mile walk back to parking lot ... I'm running around Springfield often , can't believe I've never tried to find that place .

That's a little over 4 hrs from my house. Not too far. I'll be sure to look into it come spring time when I venture out that way again.

Great shots. And yeah, in that last shot, there's really nothing to give any sense of distance and scale.

I was in manual mode and if I remember correctly 1.3" or 1.6". I do know it was less than 2seconds due to overexposed, dialed down a tad from 2
