movie looks good, my peeve is when directors rely too much on the technology to create a movie. Take "the day the earth stood still." The original was way better that left the scariest part to the imagination compared to the graphics and special effects that took the movie farthest from the original script.
Another example is Ninja Assassins, the way the made the ninjas move like the demons in the movie ghost, a puff of black smoke lol. they're ninjas! what makes them cool is thier superior agility to normal humans, what they physically do not that they can smell your scent like "wolves" lol that was funny.
But reintroducing original movies are gauranteed cash for the producers, they don't want to invest time into their own originals, they just want the money...sux.

i agree to an extent.
remaking movies introduces a younger generation to classics. ive never seen clash of the titans, and i dont have the attention span to watch older movies.

edit: p.s. im in it for the entertainment, not any artistic value

Mythology.. With will always be big. with 300, Alexander, and Gladiator being so big prob a great movie for rental... Pretty soon I think you will see even more movies like this ,with more and more of the mostly digital movies ..

it looked good but I just read they are working on a remake of total recall ..............so I guess people have no more idea's eh?

I'm not against remaking movies, just when they claim it's an original because they made a change to the concept. Recent example The Goods, it was a remake of Used Cars.
