    The production cars base V8 engine will be the LS3 as the LS2 will be phased out by the 2009 production year.

    still makes me wonder...just where will they cap it ya know? In the last couple of models...

    LT1: 300 hp
    LS1: 345hp
    Ls2: 400hp

    What HP is considered too much for the general buyer? i'd hate to see them with 450 HP power plants that sky-rocket the price into elite status
