Chevy Equinox
Any feedback about this SUV??
My father in law is considering it for work. I know that it is the first year it is out and he is considering this or the Trailblazer.
If anyone knows anything + or - let me know.
Thanks!!

Very good little trucks, sell very well, most buyers (90%) are women age 20-40. Trailblazer is also a great truck (minus the 02, first year has weird electrical problems) the rest don't have any, trucks overall are very good with minimal concerns.
Many in the equinox get in the upper 20's for mpg.

the equinox looks pretty sharp. the only thing i dont care for is the underpowered outdated engine. but its small so maybe it doesnt do to bad. as far as the trailblazer goes, the reliability doesnt seem to be too bad powertrain wise but speaking from having some for used cars at my work the build quality leaves a whole lot to be desired, even by american car standards. its not anywhere near as nice as their upper level suvs and those dont set records either. i am thinking of the interior specifically, worse fit and finish ever and shit loads of really low grade plastic. again the worst ive seen in a gm car. it was enough that when compared to a ford exploader i wouldnt even consider the trailblazer, and the explorer is no winner itself. jus my 2 cents. if i had to choose between the trailblazer and the equinox id save my money and get the equinox, even if it is smaller.

My brother has a 05 Equinox & loves it. It gets about 18-20 MPG not too bad. I am actually considering a Trailblazer when I get rid of the GTO. I just don't know about the gas mileage?

If you consider getting the Trailerblazer. Check out the GMC Envoy.

GMC's are a step up from Chevy. So yes, they are a bit better.
I love mine.

i am thinking i would prolly like the envoy better. i think the envoy takes care of the things i didnt like about the trailblazer ie the interior. i would think with the 5.3 that move out.
