i thought about getting one when my monte carlo crapped out on me...but i just really didn't want another 60*v6 engine again...didn't want the looming headache of lower intake gaskets again. so instead i got my g6 4 cylinder.

The new ones are amazing, sit in it, close the door and try to convince yourself this is a GM car. If i was in the market for one i'd buy it, hands down amazing vehicle. Older body style were junk compared to these new ones.

Don't be fooled, we've sold over 15 of them (small hometown dealer, this is unheard of), can't keep them on the log, everybody that has them loves them.

Just about every import brand has taken hand outs from their gov't, rumored the prius was funded whole handily by the Japanese gov't, not to mention at least two handouts they previously received over the last 20 years. GMs latest plan is to pay it back in 5 years, but you're completely right.....

I would imagine that it would be hard to keep cars on a log
most consumers are not car people and will buy any crap you through at them
I have been saying toyota makes crap for the last ten years but everyone I know will take what car & driver has to say over what I know
now recalls across the board for the small stuff like stopping, steering, and going. you know little stuff
my aunt had a equinox and she hit an accord that ran a light t bone at about 25 or 30 my aunt got hurt her equinox crumbled like aluminum foil
just becuase the cars sell don't make em good cars hell the elantra is the best car in america if you listen to hyundai

I said buy ford not kia....
so its not an import buyer response.... Its a response by somebody that believes gm was better off being allowed to fail, restart and end the union.
(i dont care what the jap cars borrowed or where funding came from) Also my response is because I feel that gm only makes a few good/attractive vehicles to purchase now.
(every car I have owned and own currently is gm) doubtful i would buy from them again. (unless its a vette, or cadillac) However I wont by jap/korean either)
Yes I will tell you i have never borrowed money. I stay smart and dont let myself get into money trouble, its not difficult...
its not wise to make assumptions about people you dont know.
I dont believe in handouts or bailouts. It only teaches failures that they can fail again, and depend on somebody else to clean up their mess. It becomes a viscious repetitive circle.
