Yeah, I think you may have a pretty hard time finding one of those dude.

If I were you and were looking for a quick Chevy truck, I would maybe just look into a regular base model 03-06 shortbed regular cab with the 4.8, Silverado or Sierra and tinker with that, those motors do have some pretty decent potential.

And jiveass, "RST" stands for Regency Sport Truck, they were pretty limited.

yea i know all about them....i wanted one BUT made the mistake of buying a lightning witch will NEVER do again might i add lol

so now i got back into looking at them....just wanted to know if anyone knows of any for sale

Performancetrucks.net might be a good source. Skip anything with a 4.8 or five speed. The five speed is a truck transmission, almost granny low first, slow sloppy shifts. And a 4.8 is just spineless

Also, they want way too much money for cheesy stickers and cheesy leather when it comes to used trucks. If you want a good looking vehicle, substitute chevy for gmc, atleast in the 03-07 classic range. What happened bad with the lightning?

the rst would be most of a DD kinda thing, no mods or anything like that....just nice truck to DD and that be it

A regency? I've seen a few of those around.... One in particular comes to mind... A 450lb black dude my dad knew had one...the paint was too wild for my taste...too much woodgrain...what's funny was the paint right outside the window on the door was all faded and dulled from where the guys arm always rested when he drove....

Not the 90's beaner fiberglass running board trucks. The one he's talking about is 03-07 chev or gmc with foose wheels, stripes, roll pans with exhaust exits, and a baby spoiler

im looking at the built up joe gibbs truck now, looks somewhat like yours BUT with a chevy front end

BTW with that rollpan do they have a hidden hitch for it? i had one of those on my lightning

What was wrong with the lightning my brother had a 2001, and I loved that damn truck easy to upgrade and just had crazy power!!!
