Checked out the new camaro

Went back home to Detroit last week for a mini-vacation and stopped by the RenCen (GM HQ) and they had two of the new camaros in their lobby. The SS was locked but the RS was unlocked and you could check it all out. I wonder how many of these are already built? I wonder if that silver one is the concept one in the first leaked pics.

Now that I have seen one in person i'm much more impressed with the look. Wifey says she won't kill me if i look at buying one in a couple years

They maybe should have done something corvette-style and put them around the license plate. They have that big indention by the plate they could have done something with

I love the new camaro, but ya, not huge fan of the taillights. I was hoping they'd make em round like the early 70's camaro's. That would have been a huge improvement IMO.

I like these more then the 4th gen. It funny now I realize this:

F-Body's
1st Gen - Tie, Both cars have their own unique styles
2nd Gen - Edge to the Trans Am....The Bandit car is the reason I fell in love with Trans Ams
3rd Gen - Hated both till late 80's when the IROC Camaros came out...Started liking them again.
4th Gen - In the beginning Camaro had the edge till Pontiac remodeled the Trans Ams in 98'. 98' thru 02' Trans Am beat the Camaro hands down.....
5th Gen - No Pontiac = , New Camaro = better than n'thing

I know they are square, however, maybe some one will make an aftermarket light upgrade that can change the way they look.....
