It's a tahoe with an LS2. This is def. a badass truck imo. If i had a 2wd tahoe i'd definentley consider building something of this sort but maybe an LS7

.

if you were gonna go through the trouble of swapping the engine out, why not put something nastier then an ls2 in it? i guess they got the engine cheap

Might as well save money and put an lq9 iron block in it. The weight doesn't matter in a Tahoe and a couple tenths in compression doesn't really matter. I guess just because you can say you have an ls2

yea i dunno the deal with him just putting an ls2 in there..... just like i said i would have put in an LS7.....

I wouldn't bother with an LS2 or an LS7 unless I already had one on hand. With that much weight and that much room what he needs is a TVS/Maggie, Whipple, or a KB on top of a low comp long-block. If you were gonna drop $12k on an LS7 you'd be better off with a forged 408 under a blower.

but that wouldnt be nearly as streetable, or sleeper

A twin-screw over a motor with a mild to stock cam would be very streetable. Leave on the hood insulation and use one of the quieter blowers if you want to keep it a sleeper.
