I got this in my email. I had no idea that this was a problem. This is pretty serious. How many of the racing tires that everyone has on their cars are old. Can you imagine what going that fast and having your tires mess up like that would do?

WOW...!!! Good Info..!! Just checked my DD truck tires 2704=27th month of '04 there 3.5 to 4 years old so I bought them brand new...cool, now gotta check the camaro when I get home...thanks again.

Whats up with the Goodyear Integrity man? Fuckers wear out so goddamn fast lol I love my goodyear wranglers on my jeep though. Best tire I've ever had for that thing. Ride smooth, great traction, nice and quiet. Last long.

tires are a great source for energy output. they're used as an alternative fuel. and that manager said he could trade the old tires in for new tires...

I so wanted to race you tho? Did you get your ford fixed? Check out my myspace and see some pic's of my shit. I raced a gt500 from 40 to 105 and he got 1/2 lenght since Im auto and he is stick, and I didnt know we were about to race. at 105 I had my 1/2 back and he let out. I would have started pulling so hard. This 2 seater convertible ways 800 pounds more than my long bed full size pickup. had to use 3 diff transport companies. It is way to heavy. 4450lbs. accelerates faster from 100mph than to 100mph.

I was unaware that there are 27 months in a year. lol.

I work in the tire industry, and every single time I see a tire with a date older that 4 years, I inform the salesman. But, do they care? Nope. At least not most of the time. They usually tell me just to mount it up anyway. I try like hell to let people know that aged tires are unsafe.
