good set for home, if you buy the craftsman set, you'll need a toolbox/socket organizer as their "mechanics" sets are a box with a bag of sockets and assorted hand tools inside. unless you get the blowmolded case toolsets. My first toolset when I got into auto mechanics was one of those craftsman sets.

no doubt, it has almost anything that you need at home for your car or anything else you might work on. I think every household should have a socket set minimum. I'm jus informing you guys that in order to use the craftsman mechanics sets you are gonna need organizers and a basic small tool box as they come in bag'o socket form. If you work out of the bag of sockets, you are gonna lose shit and you'll spend all day trying to find the socket you need

I bought a Husky Tool box from homedepot about 4 years ago and I had whole bunch of tools, but from time to time working on different cars and taking the tools with me to different locations, got a lot of my tools lost.

So thats why I caught this deal, I can stack up on some of the tools I am missing.

I need a tool box. I hate having to dig through my stupid plastic tub to find what I need.

Once I buy a house I'm getting a killer tool box.

    I'm a cheap ass. I'd rather spend $500 on a tool box and $1500 on a lift.

    Need a garage first though.

I got the same set for the same price a year ago. Still works pretty good. I use it mostly on the motorcycle.
