Cheaper insurance for 2 corvettes than vette/fbody..
AND thats full coverage on both vettes vs just liability on the ta
also thought that was a myth.

04 Cobra 'vert - M6 mysti- 02 WS6 coupe - A4 red
You know it's all in the statistics. A higher percentage of Corvette drivers are older and probably have less accidents/claims, vs a higher percentage of f-body owners being younger and having more accidents/claims...

Light Pewter Metallic- y2k 8-cylinder catfish
It's not the car itself that causes that. It's the number of insurance claims overall. How often do you see a wrecked Corvette compared to a wrecked f-body?

It also factors in how much damage your car does to the other car/ people. How much repairs cost for each. Likelihood of accidents, age group of accidents that have occurred. Primary use of the vehicle, the city you live in and traffic in the city. Credit score plays a role as well.
With that said my F250 costs me more than my TA did.

Black 2002 T/A M6- Green 1997 Ram 4x4
I was annoyed cause I didn't price vette insurance until after I bought the T/A. If I woulda saved a little more and sprung for a C5/C5Z I would have a faster car and cheaper insurance.
Still love my car though.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
I shouldn't get into this....
'01 GA/'99 TA = $1200 a year (full coverage)
'01 GA/'08 TBSS = $768 a year (full)
Amazing what the 'projected' driver type makes a difference.....

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
Alot less irresponsible people drive vettes. So they aren't wrecked as often as an f-body, so claims are made less. Less claims cheaper insurance. Same reason why crotch rockets insurance is threw the roof.

Mine is about 60 bucks a month on the snake, but listed as a secondary and only put like 1000 miles a year on it.
