Silver- At least its paid for.
Changed the plugs and wires on my grand prix Sunday and
Its a 98 and it has 250,000 miles and change on it. I pulled the plugs and im pretty sure they have never been changed before. A/C Delco must make a pretty good plug for them to last that long. The wires have never been changed eather. The tips on the plugs were all worn off im surprized the car was even running still. Now hopefully my MPG will go up a good amount.

There is a sticker on it that say's it was changed at 246,000 miles. Maybe that was the only time they changed it. Right before they traded it in. Im going to put moble 1 extended life in it tomorrow. I will see if its all gunked up or not.

theres no way that engine would have lasted 246 thousand miles on original oil. most american engines take a shit at 25k sometimes a lil more. but not that high. they may have changed oil but not as regularly as they should have. i would have hoped that before buying a used car u checked the oil, and asked about any service records.

your crazy, a 3.8 with some full synth mobile would have no problem going 25k, I sure as fuck would'nt do it.... does'nt seem right. But a 3.8 is one of the best engines on oil

Sunset Orange Metallic- 2002 Pontiac TransAm WS6
My 2000 Grand Prix GTP also has the original plugs in it. 96K and still going strong.
I will probably change them when it warms up a bit along with the belts and the tensioner pulley.
I know the oil isn't that old!
I change it every 4-5K.
