i dont think either one will or could be as big a hit as the new mustang when it was released.

I saw a Black SRT8 one at the dealership the other day. Look really good in person, but I laughed when i saw the 20k markup.

Agreed. My local Dodge stealership just got 5 of them, 2 oranges, 2 black and 1 silver. I went and got a close look at them and they are pretty cool but some things look a bit cheap. Like the "carbon fiber" hood stripes are just decals and the interior is standard dodge. A few of them were already sold. Still pretty interesting cars, i just cant wait to come up on one on the street.

A driver at work today called me, he stopped at the dealer because they had one outside and he said the car gets to the dealer with a 40,000 dollar price on it then the dealer adds 20,000 onto it to make it a 60,000 dollar car, do i believe it? i'm not sure do i?

My brother in law bought one of the orange ones a couple of weeks ago. paid $10k markup. This past saturday his daughter went by his house to drive the car, she went in the garage, pull on the door handle to open the door but the door was locked. Went in the house and told her dad the doors were locked on the challenger. He said, "let's eat first then I will let you drive the car". After a couple of hours he and his daughter went back out to drive the challenger when they found out they couldnt unlock the doors with key fob. In fact when the daughter had tried to open the door earlier it had trigger the gps system to turn on and it had killed the battery. Had to call the dealership to come and get it. Not so funny looking at a $51,000 car getting towed being less than two weeks old and less the 100 miles on the clock.

still shit, so congrats... we have a car that has more power then a 10yr old fbody... slower.. and gets about 10mpg less in city and highway then a 10yr fbody. And with a 60-80k pricetag that dealers are having, even around here, I think ill go get a 505hp z06 with 30mpg highway. I swear you need to be on drugs to buy that car. IT DOESN'T EVEN COME IN MANUAL FOR FUCKS SAKE!
