Celtics-Lakers Finals matchup again........
You can stick a fork in Orlando, they are done.
Last night, Suns didn't look like they were going to put up much fight against the Lakers either. So far, OKC has given the Lakers the only fight in the playoffs. I am excited about the Thunder for next year.

I agree. People thought I was an idiot when I said they were going to the finals. People told me they wouldnt make it out of round one. I really hope they win, Rondo totally deserves another ring. He def earned it.
However, I really want to see LA win to. Kobe is so close to getting his 5th ring, only 3 away from beating MJ's record. And Phil Jackson can fianlly run out of fingers to put his rings on!! LOL

Kobe may end up with more rings than Jordan, but Kobe will never surpass Jordan in elite status. Also, had Jordan's father not passed away, the Bulls would have won 8 consecutive titles and I seriously doubt anyone can/will make a valid argument that any team would have ever beaten a Jordan led team in the Finals.
I like Phil, but don't care for Kobe or the Lakers.
Rondo is the MVP of the playoffs to this point. Boston is playing as good, maybe better than they did 2 years ago. They have a better team than 2 years ago and are healthy. Lakers worst fear is Boston making the Finals.Last edited by Y2KPewterSS; 05-19-2010 at 07:01 PM.

Also the lakers and suns are both VERRY well rested. Both had 7 days off before the conf finals. Celtics always went to a game 6. Kobe is the closest to becoming the next Jordan. I'm sorry but Lebron is just hype and talk I feel. They were the number one seat in the playoffs and lost to a team that was struggling to get a playoff spot. So much for the back to back MVP...he's got a long way to go.

Lakers over Boston
West is way more competitive then the East.
Yea the Celtics beat the Cavs but Lebron didnt even show up...
Kobe has been taring it up this post season and last night he had his playoff high in assist so its not just him he has the whole team doing good.
Cavs didnt have someone to cover Garnett but the Lakers do... they match up very well on defense... and they can score at will

With no home town pro basketball team to root for as a kid, I adopted the Magic once Shaq got there. That said, I don’t think they have what it takes to beat Boston.
I don’t particularly like either Boston or L.A., but I dislike Boston less that L.A. so here’s hoping that the Celtics can pull it off in the finals.
As for basketball in NOLA, I hear that the Hornets new owner is going to chang their name to the Sinners, their colors to black & gold, and that Drew Brees is going to sign with them becoming the first player in history to be both the NBA and NFL MVP in the same year.
NOLA Sinners NBA Champs 2011, you heard it here first, hahahahhaaa

Lebron sucks. I'm sry but I don't think he shud have gotten MVP. Kobe has gasol and odom, but lebron has shaq, big z and verajoue and Mo Williams. They still won games w/o lebron and shaq, so there still a good overall team. Nash or D-Wayde shuda got it.
