Celebrities and F-bodies

I've always kinda wondered if any of the so called celebrities own a LT1 or
LS1 f-body? I know if I was rich I'd have a garage full of them, corvette's as well. Anyone know of someone that does? Speaking of rich people, while in Vegas last month we went to the Ferrari store in the Venetian, I think that's the casino it was in, anyway, I got in a conversation with this Italian guy while drooling over the F1 motor they had on a stand. He started telling me all about Ferrari's and the difference between the models, engines, etc.. then he pulls out a photo albulm and shows me a picture of a 10 bay garage that has just about every model of Ferrari lined up, including an Enzo, and he owned every one of them. It made me sick to my stomach, he asked if I had any kind of exotic so I just laughed and said no, just a couple camaro's. He was a really cool guy, neat to talk to but damn it made me feel like shit.

If you're smart with your money then you'll get there one day. My priorities used to be buying a LS1 T/A and modding it a lot but I am going to trade options instead so that I can be like that guy you're talking about.

I doubt many celebs would buy an f-body unless it was a collector's edition or something. Most of them are buying Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, etc. because they have the money to do so and those cars are status symbols. An f-body is not. Hell, even a Corvette is considered middle class.

Jay Leno I know owns 02 NBM T/A M6 WS.6. He had one of the reporters from a car mag tour his garage and the reporter took a picture of his recent purchases (This was back in 02' obviously.) one of them was the WS6. Ian Zehring one of the guys in 902101243 BV shows had his camaro conv. Foosed at the OverHaulin' show.

Leno kicks ass, he makes $17,000,000 per year and owns an f-body. He knows a cool car when he sees one but I bet he owns Vettes and Vipers as well. I hope I can make that much some day.

lenos collection rules, u could liteally spend a week playing with and observing all his cars and memorabilia. for the life of me though i cant understand why hes that rich. yes he does the tonight show, but does that show really pay that much? his humor really isnt that funny. they are really dumb jokes and observations jus made by reading the newspaper. any one of us can do taht. hes the worst interviewer i have ever seen. the only part of his show i like is when he goes to colleges and asks basic knowledge questions to students and they have no clue what the answers are.

Leno is a car God! His collection is rivalled by few, and he collects whatever he likes, whether it is rare or not. He has some amazingly exotic/rare/off the wall cars, down to very early collector and one off items.

If you go to Barnes and Noble, there is an entire book dedicated to Leno's car collection. He is an absolute car freak. He is my hero!!!!!!

I think I heard that he lives off stand up, books, public speakings, etc. Apparently is $20mil a year salary for the Tonight Show he just saves and invests. Leno is a smart guy.

Leno is the man...i remember watching him and Tim allen..also a car freak do a burnout contest on the tonight show..leno had a tubbed grand national and allen had is RRR saleen...and i know adrian broady has a supercharged vette..he said that on the tonight show when he was on it.

I saw that episode. Zehrings is a 69 convertible though. And when they were done with it, it looked badass! that paintjob was awesome!

What was so great about our cars when new, and still is for that matter, is it's a car for the regular guy, or girl. Near top of the line performance in a budget package. With a few adders your beating much more expensive cars, that's the fun part.

reggie jackson usedto have like 100 or so chevys but most of them burned up in a fire in his storage facitily some years . it was reported that he used to do comercials for some chevy dealer in fla and part of the agreement was a bran new z every year and most of them went right to storage with 0 miles on them
