He is truly a legend in the car community. He has contributed a great deal to cars as a whole over his lifetime. I havent been too pleased at some of his antics later in life, but he deserves respect nonetheless for what he has accomplished. May he RIP.

RIP Carroll. I remember spending many a day and racing many cars in my brothers 66 GT350. I learned how to drive a stick shift in that car and had many a romantic encounter in her back seat. I loved that gt350. It was fast, fun and it could handle which was something muscle cars could not do very well. I miss that car and I will miss you too Carroll Shelby. God bless you and what you have left here on this earth. We will never forget you.

Sad day for car lovers everywhere. He loved power, speed, and just going fast in general. Didnt matter what company. He had his hands in to Dodge, Ford and GM.

Onlything is 2012 is the year he passed away and the year his "team" tried to pass of a GT500 pulling the front wheels off the ground (photoshoped) and they got caught. lol

1965 GT350's did not have a back seat but the 1966 model did. I know, we had one. K-code engine and all.

We will miss you Carroll Shelby, you were a pioneer and an inspiration for all of us. My Uncle still owns a '64 Tiger that Mr. Shelby helped Sunbeam create, really cool car.
