My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
car or house?
I'm at a cross roads kids...ever since I wrecked the batmobile i've been debating...get a new t/a or get house? I'm currently renting and have been for almost 3 years. I'm about to get married and with that comes a ton of "house gifts" [fine china, bed stuff, batroom stuff...ya know] and i'm like "well, what's the point of having a cool car if it's out in the elements all the time, i'd rather have a garage for it"

I voted house...Renting is pretty much a waste of money...get a house, and when your stable enough worry about buying toys.

I am in the same position you are in, really. I am opting to buy a house most likely. I could buy a damn nice car with the money I have saved. But having a home of your own is just effin sweet. If you look at it the right way.... Its a win-win situation kinda.

Buy the house man. You can't live out of a T/A.

Your house will only go up in value over the years. Your car will only decrease.

you can have the best of both worlds, get a condo and car.
i own a 2 bedroom condo thats more than enough room for 2 people and have two cars.
btw, dont ruin a perfectly good relationship by getting married jaison2000 nhra edition formula

House!!! You can always get the car later, and have a place to keep it.
Plus the new wife will be much happier!

I'm at that point too, almost. I've had a few acres of ground given to me on the old family farm land, and all I have to do is find a spot that profiles/perks for a sewer and its mine. Only thing is, is that I'm hesitant to do all of this because of what reason, I don't know. I have my toys already, the car, a truck, my harley, all that i owe on is the bike. I should get my arse in gear and get this stuff done, but for some reason i'm hesitant. *shrugs* regardless, I didn't vote, because i'd be torn between the two as well. The only thing I can think of is this, the house is forever, the car can be sold and you'll still have a place to live. *shrugs*

This is a no brainer, get a house like was said before it will increase in value, the car will not. I had to wait 8yrs....till the wife was happy...I drove beaters with heater..lol All the while she got the NEW vehicles, 2nd house and 1 kid and one on the way, I got my car, and started modding it right away. I had to wait till we were more financially stable, and she was satisfied....if that is possible...lol HOUSE..my 2cents worth...good luck on whatever you decide.though

You'd be really stupid to get a car over a house. It's only a car! Besides, you can cash out some equity in a couple of years and buy another car.
