Camcorder Help!
Ok so I want to buy a camcorder to put some videos together. Money wise..ill spend up to 700, 800 tops. I was thinking of getting this one CLICK ME but the guy in the review said its not a good camera to buy if youre gonna edit the video, cuz it distorts the quality(something along those lines) So if any of you mofos know anything about a good quality camera that isnt rediculous in price. I will appreciate it. Keep in mind Im gonna edit the video(s) alot.

Why would anyone really want to edit on a camera? Video editing on Camera's is just a lame ass feature used to sell them. I'd edit on a PC if I needed to edit. Atlest then you can roll back your changes if they didn't turn out like you wanted them too.

nah man...u got me wrong...i guess i didnt explain myself correctly...this camera that im talkin about...when u upload the vids to the computer....its good, but when u start editing on the computer the video starts to lose quality cuz of the way it saves it on to the hard drive..idk some werd shit like that...im NOT gonna do the editing on the camera itself...

personally have this one http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1166236336786 this one isnt bad either tho, http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1166236107365 i work at best buy so we get to play with all this shit and hear about all the problems and ones that come back. makes it easier to decide what to get, oh yeah get the 4 year accidental damage thing, gurantees even if your shit gets run over by a car you'll get a new one, i foresee my camcorder having an accident in 3 years 8 months

Seen my videos??
Basic mini-DV cameras.
It is all in how you render the video after the editting.

The quality of the video after you edit it. Raw footage transferred onto the computer will look outstanding, but it also makes the files HUGE. You have to edit it down and compress (render) it so you can share it online...if you were looking to do that.
3 minutes of raw footage makes a 675 meg file (roughly).
There are a TON of different compression options.
