Call of Duty 4 stupid question

So ive been playin cod4 for awhile now and im a pure addiact at this point... problem is i get drunk alot and play... and my score is suffering LOL.

my question is, what icon in the multiplayer screen is the ranked server icon? when i'm drunk id like to play nonranked servers so i dont fuck up my kill/death ratio anymore then i already have. the manual doesnt explain any of the icons, and the only obvious one is the fuckin mic button. there is a check mark, atom and red globe lookin icons that i have no idea what they are. anyone?

do you have it for Xbox 360? all I know is that you earn experience points by killing and such, and each new rank is earned from the points. but the points don't go away, unless you are playing team hardcore and kill your own people. but ya, I dunno what you are talking about. some ratio?

WTF? They are all ranked on 360, although every fucking time I find a game it says balancing teams, then lobby closes and I lose it. I get it, it's hard to balance a level 59 with a bunch of n00bs.

Havent got into any the live stuff yet. Just picked up the game last night and it F**ing sweet. Just finished the level were your shooting from C130.. too cool!

Finished the game last night. It was awesome, 5 stars. It does play a bit short, went through it on normal setting in about 5-6 hours. It was like a good book and I didnt want to put it down. The sniper mission was cool.

I normally exchange my games right after I finish to get better trade in value but I think I'll hang on to this one. Add it to my Tom Clancy collection. That last Airplane mission after the credits was neat, like how the plane listed to the side when you shot out the window. Shotguns + in flight assault = kick ass ride. Think I'll try BioShock next.

only thing i didnt like was when you are supposed to assasinate the guy you are using a barret 50. cal in chernobyl in the 80's. Pretty much everything else was spot on though

Chernobyl--That was funny, if you think about it. trying to be "stealthy" with your radioactive meter just clicking away. Later he grew a foot off his forehead.

lol no problem... i'm convinced no one on the planet other then the developers knows what the icons mean... great oversight on thier part, not in the manual, on the cd, in the game or online anywhere. remember back when computer game manuals where almost 300 pages in length with details down to the torque specifications for the bolts on the virtual cockpit? good ol days before assembly line game production started.
