Why is that so unbelieveable? The Z06 would absolutely destroy the archaic GT40. The Ford GT on the other hand is a great competitor for the Z06. The Z06 is a beast of a car. It's not like it was destroying the GT. It was pulling it by a not-so-huge margin.

the gt40 isnt one standard car. there were a few different generations and different engines. a replica could have any number of different ford motors. so yes the new z06 could very likely beat the snot out of one. the new ford gt on the other hand. i would say its a very tough race, edge going to the ford. and if the gt is pullied? of forget it. the ford gt with a pully is a fuckin monster.

From what I've read a tuned/intake Z06 would not be destroyed by the GT-40. show me your sources.
